March 31st is the due date for 3rd quarter progress reports. This includes a progress update entered on BrightWays, as well as submitting one work sample for each fundable course on the ILP. You can upload work samples onto BW on the Progress Report page, fax or mail, or bring them by. If your student is not finished with half of their 2nd semester work, then include a short narrative of progress to date. If you have grades ready, then enter them . . . or both! Thank you!

Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment (WISE) is inviting two students from the Copper Basin to attend WILD10 in Spain in October. Students must be between 14 and 19 (must be 14 by April 1, 2013) . They will be selected by answering essay questions on the application form and have the support of their parents or guardian. Cost for the trip to Spain is estimated at around $3,000 per person. Students will be required to raise $1,000 of the $3,000. Parents are welcome to come along as chaperones but it would be at their own expense. Other students will be selected from other parts of Alaska.
