Join local homeschooling families at the Murdock Campus Center (gym) at Alaska Bible College on Thursday night, May 23rd. Meet at 5:30 for a pot luck dinner, followed by games in the gym. We'll honor our students graduating from high school and promoting from 8th grade. Please come! This is for all homeschool families, but is hosted by Upstream Learning. March 31st is the due date for 3rd quarter progress reports. This includes a progress update entered on BrightWays, as well as submitting one work sample for each fundable course on the ILP. You can upload work samples onto BW on the Progress Report page, fax or mail, or bring them by. If your student is not finished with half of their 2nd semester work, then include a short narrative of progress to date. If you have grades ready, then enter them . . . or both! Thank you!
SBA and HSGQE assessments will be given April 2-4, with an additional day of Science for Grades 4, 8, and 10 on April 5th. We will have testing sites in Glennallen (UL classroom) and Kenny Lake (KL Chapel). These tests are required of all students in Grades 3-10. Refer to the letter emailed on Thursday, March 21st for all the details. Call Ramona if you have any questions.

This month's Bucket of Fun activity is a break from winter . . . think hot sun, ocean breezes, seashells. We'll read and sing about the sea and make a lovely seashell wind chime.

2013 Young Scientist Challenge open for Entries to students in grades 5-8. Students create a 1-2 minute video showcasing their great idea to solve a real-world problem. Ten national finalists will have the opportunity to work directly with a 3M scientist in an exclusive summer mentorship program and bring their innovative ideas to life.
